Wave of protests in Moscow

Starting from 27 th July 2014 began the activation of the political activities of opposition political movements “Group of 24” and “Youth of Tajikistan for the revival of Tajikistan” on the territory of the Russian Federation. The first rally as we noted in the previous article “The interaction of political movements and intensifying their work” went on Prospekt Mira in Moscow. Participants of the meeting agreed to continue the protests against the government of Tajikistan dictator Rahmon and his clan and cronies. Every Friday at the Olympic Avenue of Moscow City, the organizers and participants of rallies and protests have continued to gather. The number of participants grew rapidly as the success of the first rally against the government Rahmon had a great response, not only among the two million Tajik labor migrants in Russia, but also among the disaffected citizens (an absolute majority) in Tajikistan. News of this quickly spread in the media and on the Internet. The leader of the “Group of 24”, while in Turkey, coordinated with the movement Maksud Ibrahimov and other activist groups. They have always been in touch with people via radio “New Tajikistan” Internet radio “Zello”. They spoke at the opposition and foreign channels, reporting on the work done and the next steps of people movements and international non-governmental organizations. This message was a new page in their history for citizens of Tajikistan. We, ordinary people, have hope for a brighter future. In the political arena against Rahmon were such worthy sons of Tajikistan such as Umarali Kuvvatov, Maksud Ibrahimov and other activists of the two movements. The common people believed them and the young citizens of Tajikistan have started to support them. Frames of fear for the people that have been set by the Rahmon through terror and intimidation of its own population the last decade, have been broken. Ordinary citizens saw an opportunity to protest against injustice and fight for their legitimate rights. The time is ripe for change for the people. Of course there was a risk of persecution by the Rahmon regime, but Tajiks come to protest rallies. People who previously were afraid of the existing regime in Tajikistan and even whispers the name of the dictator Rahmon, at rallies, now openly criticized the authorities for the cameras and shouted different slogans against the regime in Tajikistan. This gave rise to a wave of protests and tensions and as a result it ushered in new protests in other cities of the Russian Federation.
