People say, that when a person is born, a new star lights up in the sky. So, 48 years ago, on November 21st the star of Umarali Kuvvatov brought light to the sky of Tajikistan. The man, who should rightfully be considered a hero of his time. Being one of the people, he always remained faithful to them. Being a wealthy and successful man, Umarali Izatovich was never indifferent to the needs of ordinary people. He created thousands of jobs, never refused the requests of help, his heart and soul never stopped paining for the fate of his people and his compatriots. Particularly the unwillingness to tolerate with injustice and oppression perpetrated in Tajikistan motivated Umarali Kuvvatov to fight against the tyrannical regime of Rahmon. By creating the political movement “Group 24”, he openly opposed the permissiveness and impunity of Rahmon’s clan. Umarali Izatovich was repeatedly under the pressure and threats of the current government of Tajikistan for his political activities. There were numerous organized attempts on his life. However, it could not stop him. Umarali Quvvatov, as a true fighter, defended the honor, freedom and rights of his compatriots, not sparing his life and strength. But his star was not destined long to shine in the sky. It was burning too bright, preventing the imposter to do his dirty deeds. Since March 5, 2015 the star of Umarali Izatovich went out by the bloody hands of Rahmon. But, its light will remain in our sky, our memories and our hearts forever!
