Today, March 15, 2024, the political movement “Group 24” organized a rally in Vienna (Austria) in front of the Turkish Embassy. This rally was attended and spoke by the representative of the Public Committee for the Rescue of Hostages and Political Prisoners of Tajikistan Abdusattor Boboev, as well as political activists Shavkati Muhammad and Vaisiddin Odinaev. This rally took place due to the disappearance of the leader of this movement Suhrob Zafar and the representative of this group in Turkey Nasimjon Sharipov. The goal of the demonstrators is to receive an official response from the authorities of the Turkish Republic and the international community about the real location of Suhrob Zafar and Nasimjon Sharipov.
Demonstrators expressed concern about the disappearance and abduction of the leader of the political movement “Group 24” Suhrob Zafar and the representative of this movement in Turkey Nasimjon Sharipov. The goal of the representatives of the political movement “Group 24” to get an answer from the Turkish Consulate in Austria is to try to help find Nasimjon Sharipov and Suhrob Zafar as soon as possible. Demonstrators were loaded with posters and photos of Suhrob Zafar and Nasimjon Sharipov. Here are some of the slogans that were on the posters:
“We only expect justice from you,”
“Turkey is a fair-living country,”
“Do not surrender Suhrob Zafar and Nasim Sharifov to dictator Rahmonov(The president of Tajikistan since 1994)!.”
During the demonstration, participants spoke and conveyed their wishes to the international community and the Turkish embassy. One of the main requirements of the political movement “Group-24” to notify the official authorities of the Turkish Republic should not giving Suhrob Zafar and Nasimjon Sharipov to opponents, the government of the dictatorial regime of Rahmonov. All expelled and extradited opponents are imprisoned for many years and inhumanly tortured, which contradicts all norms and international human rights.
The organizer of the rally, Abuzar Khojazoda, said that these rallies will continue from Monday until the Turkish official authorities give us an answer about the whereabouts of the leader of the political movement “Group of 24 Suhrob Zakhar and the representative of the movement in Turkey Nasimjon Sharipov.
