On July 25, 2023, the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tajikistan ruled to ban one of our NEW TAJIKISTAN 2 news channels. This is our information resource, the resource of the Group 24 movement.
It turns out that the decision was made on June 21, 2023, but the Prosecutor General’s Office of Tajikistan announced this only on July 25.
We publish an official message from the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Tajikistan: “By the decision of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tajikistan of June 14, 2023, the claim of the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Tajikistan and the website” NEW TAJIKISTAN 2 “filed in order to protect the foundations of the constitutional order, security and sovereignty of the Republic of Tajikistan were recognized as an extremist and provocative organization and its activities were banned on the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan. At the same time, all websites of this organization and the Internet pages of a group of its members under the names: Sukhrob Zafar, Umar Boev, Abdullo Khikmatov, Parviz Rakhimzoda, Parviz Ashurov, Kunduzhon Mamadalieva, Khovar Murodov, Kurbonali Oripov, Sergey Bulychev, Nemat Begov, Kurbonali H. Kurbonali, Firuz Mumin, Emir Bakhaddin, Izatullo Dodoboev, Salmon Sultonzoda, Hikmatullo Bahodirov, Mansur Naimov, Khoja Abuzar, Alikhon Ayubkhonovich in the social networks “Telegram,” “Facebook,” “Youtube,” “Instagram” and other internet platforms. ”
The most interesting thing is that there were no objective reasons for closing the channel, no weighty facts and evidence that the activities of the information channel are extremist, the Prosecutor General’s Office could not name. But she menacingly warned that “all cooperation with this extremist organization and its leaders and members is illegal and the implementation of specific actions in their interests will entail criminal liability.”
What can we say about this unjustified court decision? Obviously, Rahmonov prohibits all alternative information resources so that no true news reaches the people. The people, from his point of view, should not be interested in politics and climb into state affairs. As a “herd of rams,” we should not think, but simply follow the absurd path of Rahmonov, which leads us to ruin and poverty.
For us, Rahmonov’s next attempt to ban our activities means only one thing: we are on the right path!!!! Our truth reaches the common people and resonates in the hearts of people, makes you think that you can live differently, that’s why we are banned!
Our official answer to Rahmonov: we cannot be intimidated! We will not be silent about the atrocities that are taking place in Tajikistan and will find ways to tell the truth about the totalitarian regime of Rahmonov to the whole world!
