In the last days of February, many residents of Tajikistan faced a serious problem: power outages. This time, the limit on electricity also affected residents of the capital. People just freeze in their apartments, because winter does not yet give up its position.
Residents of Dushanbe are desperate to warm up in often unsafe ways: they use “bourgeois, gas cylinders.
So recently it became known about the tragedy that occurred in Dushanbe. On February 27, a whole family of six died, four of them children. Cause of death: carbon monoxide poisoning. And if you think on a large scale, then the reason for the death of Tajiks: the insatiable Rakhmonov, who sells electricity abroad, fills his pockets and does not think how people should survive in the cold season without electricity. And every year again and again Rahmonov(The President of Tajikistan since 1994) promises that power outages will be a thing of the past. But nothing changes and ordinary people continue to suffer.
Every year, officials come up with more and more reasons for the electricity limit. So on February 1, Minister of Energy and Water Resources Daler Juma told reporters that the reason for the power outages in households is “increased demand for electricity due to the pace of economic development.” Yes, in fact, neither electricity nor economic development.
Apparently, the officials’ imagination dried up on this, and none of the authorities gives comments on the latest power outages.
