He speaks about condemning the verdict of the court of the dictatorial regime of Rahmonov against Sohrab Zafar and Nasimjon Sharipov!
With deep regret, the “Group-24” political movement strongly condemns the unjust sentence of the court of the Rahmonov regime against the leader of the movement, Sohrab Zafar, to 30 years and the representative of the movement in Turkey, Nasimjon Sharipov, to 20 years of deprivation of liberty. This sentence, which was made under conditions of pressure and disregard for human rights and full of slander, is another clear example of suppression of political freedoms and legal rights of people in the country.
Sohrab Zafar, who fought for justice and freedom with all his strength, became the target of this oppressive sentence of the regime. Nasimjon Sharipov, as a representative of the movement in Turkey, was deprived of his freedom for 20 years by the Rahmonov regime only for his political activities within the framework of international laws. The main purpose of these sentences is to put pressure on the “Group-24” political movement and silence the voice of truth.
The political movement “Group-24” categorically declares that it will continue its struggle against this bloodthirsty regime. Long and baseless sentences full of slander will not be in the way of our struggle against this regime. We will continue our efforts to defend the rights of citizens and political freedom until justice, freedom and truth prevail in Tajikistan!
We call on the international community, human rights organizations and the people of Tajikistan to respond to this case seriously and put pressure on the government of Tajikistan to respect human rights and social justice!
