Germany extradited a member of the political movement “Group 24” Bilol Kurbonaliyev to Tajikistan

Germany extradited a member of the political movement “Group 24” Bilol Kurbonaliyev to Tajikistan

The deportation center of the German Ministry of Migration in the city of Hof reported that Bilol Kurbonaliev, a member of the Group-24 political movement, who was arrested by the German Zirndorf police on October 4 this year for non-compliance with the rules of residence in this country. extradited to Tajikistan.

His lawyer said that the Ministry of Migration decided to extradite Bilol Kurbonaliyev to Tajikistan on November 24 this year, and on the same day he was extradited to Tajikistan. This decision, – says the lawyer, – came to him on November 27, that is, three days after the deportation.

The lawyer stressed that he would go to court over this illegal act by the Ministry of Migration, demanding the return of Bilol Kurbonaliev to Germany.

As we previously reported, Bilol Kurbonaliev began his political struggle in Russia, then he was forced to leave for Ukraine, as the risk of the arrest of political opponents of the Rakhmonov government in Russia increased. After Russia invaded Ukraine, he came to Germany and sought asylum. Since 2023, he is a member of the Group of 24 political movement. He participated in a rally in front of the Embassy of Tajikistan in Germany, during the last visit of Rakhmonov to this country.

It should be said that under article 24 of the German Law, whether or not he had political refugee status in Ukraine, Bilol Kurbonaliyev had to obtain asylum status in Germany if there was a risk of his extradition to Tajikistan. However, due to the repeal of section 24 of this Law and its lack of asylum status in Ukraine, the German police arrested Bilol Kurbonaliyev.

On November 6 of this year, from 11:00 to 13:00, a rally was held in the city of Cirndorf in support of Bilol Kurbonaliev, a member of the Group-24 political movement. The rally was attended by members of the political movement “Group-24” and Tajiks living in Germany.

The political movement “Group 24” monitors the situation and will notify when new information appears.
