Activist of the political movement “Group 24” Khursand Najmiddinov, who was detained in Moscow on December 5th, was released from the courtroom. He was detained at the Vnukovo airport of Moscow at the request of the Tajik authorities. The purpose of his arrival in Moscow was to visit his wife and children, who live in Russia. From 05.12 to 09.12 he was in a pre-trial detention center and in the evening of 09.12.2019 took place his hearing. The court found all charges against him unfounded and released him.
Political movement “Group 24” expresses its gratitude to the Austrian foreign Ministry, lawyer Kiril Zharinov, all international organizations, the media and all people, who supported Khursand Najmiddinov in these days.
