This morning (14.03.2020), the representative of the “Group 24” in Turkey Nasimjon Sharipov was released from a temporary detention facility in Turkey. Nasimjon Sharipov was detained at his place of work on March 12 by the police. First, he was taken to the police Department, and yesterday he was transferred to a detention center for migrants in the town of Chatalja. The „Group 24“ hired two lawyers to represent Sharipov and protect his rights in order to release him. Fortunately, Nasimjon Sharipov was released this morning.
We believe, that the behind this detention is the authoritarian regime of Rahmonov. Sharipov himself will soon speak and tell about his detention and the its reasons. Political movement „Group 24“ expresses its gratitude to all those who supported Sharipov during these days.
