During the holy month of Ramadan, we keep fasting, worshiping the Most High, praying for ourselves and for our loved ones, not forgetting to help those who really need help. To rejoice in alms and treat mercifully orphans, the sick and the suffering is a human and Islamic duty of every citizen. This is a time of inner meditation and spiritual purification.
On the eve of the holy month of Ramadan, we express deep condolences to all those who have lost relatives and friends, and ask that the Most High grant their families patience.
This year in Tajikistan, the beginning of the month of Ramadan is April 13th. Subject to sanitary conditions, the authorities allowed the opening of mosques from April 1. Last year, mosques were closed in the holy month, all public events were canceled and collective Iftar(the evening meal with which Muslims end their daily Ramadan fast at sunset) and festivities were banned due to the spread of coronovirus. In the same year, apparently fearing the negative reaction of the people, already outraged by the arrest of Izzat Amon and in connection with this the strengthening of the opposition, the mosques decided to open. Rakhmonov(the President of Tajikistan since 1994) plays with the feelings of believers, fearing large congregations of people, he has long fallen out of favor with all religious attributes. And opening mosques, closing them, not letting someone in them, banning religious holidays and abolishing Islamic traditions, he is guided only by his interests, and in no way by concern for the people and believers.
We pray for the good and freedom of our Motherland, ask the Most High to give us new strength in the struggle for this.
May all prayers be accepted! We wish to spend this holy month with our relatives and friends in peace and health.
